The match was good and despite us leading 2-1 at halftime with tries
from Alex (Under 9s player) and George Kershaw-Houghton, Gosford were able to turn it
around in the 2nd half and ended up winners by 5 tries to 3. Alfie Duffen managed
to score our only try in the 2nd half. The weather was great and the boys
seemed to enjoy despite the result.
The players who received the trophies for ‘Player of the day’ were as follows:
Under 9s Alex Warburton
Under 10s Dominic Wellham, for his tackling which was brilliant considering
the length of time he has been playing.
